The Santo Domingo Tribe’s Natural Resources Department is partnering with Environmental Justice Working Group (EJWG) to bring this Environmental Justice Roundtable discussion to New Mexico. CSU has a EJ working Group that has been operating for 5 years to create community among EJ practitioners, communities, and students and scholars. This Roundtable will focus on: • Distributive Justice: Environmental risks and hazards, which impact poor, marginalized communities, especially Tribal, Indigenous, and communities of color; • Procedural Justice: who has a seat at the table to make decisions about how we relate to land, water, animal, and plant communities.
