Eleni Bastéa, PhD, is Regents' Professor of Architecture at the School of Architecture + Planning at the University of New Mexico (UNM), where she teaches architectural history. She is also Associate Director of the International Studies Institute. She received a BA in art history from Bryn Mawr College, and a Master of Architecture and a Ph.D. in architectural history from the University of California, Berkeley. She is collaborating on the iArchitecture exhibit with IPCC and is a coauthor for the UNM Press on Contemporary Indigenous Architecture. She has co-taught the Contemporary Indigenous Architecture courses.
