Erin De Rosa has worked for over 15 years managing collaborative programs that promote local creativity, generate innovative arts projects, and strengthen communities.
Erin has collaborated with the Indigenous Design and Planning Institute since 2018. She helped launch their pilot project, A Living Archive of Urban Indians, which utilizes mapping, public art, and urban exploration to present the historic legacy of downtown architectural landmarks for and about Urban Indians in Albuquerque. Erin is delighted to collaborate with iD+Pi, and she continues to serve as project manager for the next phases of the project.
Since moving to New Mexico in 2017, Erin has served as the director for the Downtown Albuquerque Arts and Cultural District. From 2017 to 2019, she initiated several new programs, increased funding, and implemented a strategic plan for the new nonprofit. Currently, Erin serves as director for ArtWorks in Santa Fe and consults for several creative projects through her business, Color Finds Creative Services (colorfinds.com).
Erin received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, and her Master of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, PA. She maintains a studio practice and shows her paintings regionally and nationally (erinderosa.com).
